~Remember when I did a Q&A and I did say that I get a lot of questions asking if I could teach them to write? Whether you do or don't it does happen, and I do get asked this a lot lately. Well, to be honest, I cannot teach someone to write, not because I can't physically explain a writing process, but because a writer's personal style needs to be seen in their own writing-without it, you're just an imitation! I personally believe everyone needs their own style, but I can give a few tips that I used when writing and practicing my new style.

You wanted tips, and here they are:
  1. Abbreviations for words you can spell out such as your becoming 'ur,' or any form of 'text' speech, is gross. Do not even try that in anything, for any reason besides using your cell phone.
  2. Speaking of things belonging to someone, use the proper forms of words such as your and you're, or there, their, and they're. They make a hell of a difference, trust me.
  3. Using all dialogue is bad. I want to know where they are, what is the scenery like, how are they acting? It's all very important to set the mood-especially for fluff.
  4. Try to expand your vocabulary a little by using new words in place of basic ones. Instead of cute or pretty, say elegant or dazzling! They are much more preferable when reading.
  5. Use real life conversation. No one says someone's name at the end or beginning of each and every sentence. Be realistic.
  6. As a final note, realism is important. In lemons, fluff, and limes, I would not be a girl to just fall in love with a guy I first met or sleep with them either. Be realistic, and try to think of something more logical rather than jumping to cliche's. Plot is valuable!

~These are the few tips I can give about writing since my individual style follows most of these steps. I seldom do any of these things listed, and I hope if you do any of these things you realize that they just don't look very professional-though if you do, I'm sure your writing is wonderful <333
